INDE Project - Information Development - International Meeting Enterprises, webs, industrial clusters between real and virtual markets. Organised by Informest.
Gorizia the 28th of April 2006. Grand Hotel Entourage. The Italian industrial cluster model became, the last few years, one of the main topics of Italian cooperation with neighbouring East European Countries, both as a policy for supporting Small and Medium Size Enterprises, but also for promoting economic cooperation and investments in the enterprises local production systems. The INDE Project (INformation DEvelopment) aim is to support these integration processes among CADSES Area production realities, exploiting the opportunities offered by ICT tools and, specifically, creating an interactive and cooperative environment able to increase new forms of cooperation and develop new market opportunities. Internet technologies, in fact, permit to manage long distance interactions, information exchange and communication processes growing and modifying the already existing webs among enterprises, boosting up supplying chain systems and commercial relations between local and global markets. This meeting was organised in order to debate and deepen the virtual districts model, conceived as a highly specialized supply chain, adopting web technologies in order to handle its long distance production and commercial relations. The seminars and workshops organized within the meeting, intend to verify, in the framework of the EU agenda regarding ICT resources, if this new model can represent a valid basis for the development of new industrial relations and if it can affect the development of domestic but also foreign cluster models.
